There are many times in life when everything can feel mundane. Our day to day. Our routines. Our constant chase for better things. That never ending “pursuit of happiness”, that tunnel vision, can often blind us from the complexities of our world. The following photographs have been captured on my daily commutes to and from work in an effort to connect, understand and appreciate the world around me.

The photographs have been captured with a Canon Sure Shot Tele 80, a small point and shoot film camera from the mid 90s. Since this is my first time working with film, I decided to try as many different films as possible. There might be some variance in the colors and exposures of the photographs but the essence of what is inside of them remains the same. After all, our tools are just a means to an end. The most important aspects of a photograph is the subject and the story that is being conveyed.

La Vida Cotidiana Esta Llena de Poemas.

Enjoy.
